Farah Siraj is deeply committed to education and intercultural exchange through her innovative musical outreach programs. Her tours are not just performances but immersive experiences that often include choral residencies, where she collaborates with local choirs, schools, and community members. By incorporating songs in English, Arabic, and Spanish, Farah promotes linguistic diversity and a deeper understanding of various cultural heritages. Being from Jordan, she brings a unique perspective to these communities, offering rich narratives and musical traditions from the Middle East. She is dedicated to using her music to foster cultural and musical appreciation and celebrating the beauty of cultural diversity. Farah’s artistic residencies include Carnegie Hall’s Musical Explorers program, with live performances for over 14,000 students in New York and Denver, and over 300,000 students studying her curriculum worldwide. Other artist residencies with choral components include the city of Rochester and the University of Arkansas. In recognition of her impactful work, Farah was selected as the artist in residence for the 2024-2025 Arts Midwest touring program WorldFest, supported by the National Endowment for the Arts. She is touring the United States conducting workshops and seminars, and working with local choirs that join her on stage in her concerts, sharing the rich heritage and intricate nuances of Middle Eastern music. Through her educational initiatives, Farah seeks to inspire the next generation of musicians and promote a deeper appreciation of cultural diversity. Her work not only entertains but also educates, bridging cultural gaps and advocating for global harmony through the universal language of music.
